Cheap shopping area in Shanghai to buy clothes/shoes

Staying at Ambassador hotel.pls advise the cheap places where we can buy clothes/shoes/toys/ornaments etc?

I think it may be hard for you to find the cheap and shopping areas near your hotel, so you may go to the West Nanjing Road to have a look.
I heard there is a shopping mall called Taobao City at No. 580, West Nanjing Road, so you may go there to have a look.
