compatibility between fire horse and black water rat

I am a male fire horse and my brother is black water rat. We have had lots of conflicts in our childhood days and somehow got separated. I left my house for around 8 years and wish to return and stay in the same house where my brother who is a black water rat, stays.

Is it safe to return there or should I avoid?
