I have to get to the Discovery Bay in Hong Kong, I will arrive at guangzhou at half past 7 in the morning what is the cheapest way to get there?

Upon your arrival, it is suggested to take shuttle bus or local subway line to Guangzhou Garden Hotel, Guangzhou Hotel, or Dongfang Hotel to take direct cross-border coach to HK. You may get off at HK Disneyland with the bus fare of 120HKD per person. Then take a taxi to Discovery Bay.

But if you take a train to Shenzhen first and transfer to ferry, it is much more inconvenient.

The direct ferry between Guangzhou and HK is available. But the Guangzhou Huangsha Port is far from the airport and the ferry costs 165-210RMB per person. You will arrive at China Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival, you need to transfer to other transportation to your destination.

And I am not so clear about your last line. You'd better make it clear.

thats why the ferry from HK central to dicovery bay seems quite a good option
Is there a cheaper way 120 seems kinda much
and the train to shenzhen is just 23RMB
I'd prefer the less convinient but cheaper way. ^^

I have a way for you, but it costs almost the same CNY120 an less convenient:
Take the direct bus from Guangzhou Airport to Shenzhen, spending CNY94. It will take you to Bagualing, where transfer bus no. 7, 102 or K302 to Shenzhen Train Station and the bus fare is CNY1-2. Then cross the border to Lo Wu, HK, where take East Rail line to Hung Hom. After that, u may use ferry or bus to your destination.

but i will arrive at the guangzhou trainstation not the airport so its much easier and cheaper for me just to take the train

Then the best and most convenient way should be the direct cross-border coach as suggested by Rita from Malaysia above. There seems no direct bus to Discovery Bay. Anyway, the coaches are operated by Trans-Island Limousine Coach Service. You may contact them to ask the details.
