About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

Size of berth

Hi! We'll be travelling from guilin to guangzhou so what is the size of berth? Because we are five girls so we are worried for the fifth girl to sleep in another compartment with other strangers. However, we are also worried about hard-sleepers because there are no doors so it might be risky. Please advise. Tks.

the berth is not large, only 60 – 70 cm in width, so it is impossible for two girls to sleep in one berth.
actually, a hard-sleeper compartment has six berths, and there will be two strangers in your compartment. if the fifth girl is in another compartment, she can try to change the berth with one of two the strangers in your compartment.
just take it easy, it is not risky, many travelers choose to travel by hard-sleeper. you just need to take care of your valuable things.
