About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Visa question and vaccination requirement

My daughter is traveling from Sydney to China on holiday, she is an Australian citizen, does she require a tourist L? If yes and we apply on line how long does the process take? Can we call into the consulate in Sydney to process and would this be quicker?. How much does it cost? What vaccinations are required? Thanks

Hi, your daughter should apply for a tourist L through CVASC in Sydney. Online application is not available, but she can fill the application form online and use Australia Post Express Post to deliver her application to the center. The processing for application by post is about 10 working days with no express service available. Fee is AUD 115 for a single entry L. For tourist L, vaccinations are not required.
