About:Zigong Travel

May I know how frequent is the bus to Leshan city from Zigong.

I plan to go to Dinosaur Museum and Salt Museum in the morning and noon. And wanted to take a bus around 4.00pm to leshan. Do I need to buy the bus tickets 1 day advance or can get the bus tickets on the spot? What is the tickets fare for Adults? Any children bus fare discount? My kids is age 5, 10 and 11. How many hours journey from ZG to Leshan city?

I remember the last bus from ZG to Leshan leaves ZG General Bus Station round 16:45, so you can certainly catch the bus around 16:00. It costs CNY45 or around per person and takes around 3h. There appear to be kids ticket, counted by their height. You can consult the bus station staff.

And you don't need to book the bus in advance and it is also not available to do so. Just go to the bus station to get the tickets on the spot.

1. Local bus no. 35 can directly take you from the musuem to the general bus station. And the bus timetable has a little change now. Buses are scheduled from 07:00 to 17:30 every day.

2. The bus will take you to Leshan Central Bus Station, where you can take local bus no. 3 to the Giant Buddha. To Mt. Emei, there is still around 90km's distance and you can take direct bus at the Leshan Central Bus Station to get there.

How do i get to the ZG general bus station from the dinosaur museum? the bus to leshan city will take me near mount emei wont it?

Take the taxi directly from Dinosaur Museum to ZG bus Station. Its acutally outskirt ZG and next to the entrance highway tol. So, very seldom taxi bus and taxi by pass there. I took a private taxi back to ZG town when no taxi found. Cost RMB 10/20 per way.

Bus from ZG to Leshan stops at Leshan city. Its far from emeishan about an hour. you need to take a taxi or a bus to emeishan. cost about RMB100 by taxi.
