For what you want, it is suggested to go to local Clothing Wholesale Markets to have a try, such as Shisanhang, Baima (near GZ Railway Station) and Shahe Markets. Besides, I heard there ae such things at local Onelink Plaza at Jiefang South Road, Yuexiu District.

Hi, I happen to know a shawl mall, Shawl Wholesale Market, in 79 South Renmin Rd, Liwan District.
As for party frock, you can go to Evanxu in 29 West Xincun Rd, Hongwei Village, Haizhu Square.
