About:Visa Policy of China

What visa can I apply for to stay in china for 12 months ?

Please advise on the following,I have a Chinese girl friend , she resides in china, I am a 60 year old South African. What are the chances ?

Hi, you can apply for a private visit S type with invitation letter from your girlfriend and a copy of her Chinese ID. But it is very difficult to get a 12 month one if you are visiting China for the first time actually, a short one is possible and you can get it extended once time.
