When does 3 day travel start on Airport Express Travel Pass in HK

Does it start when you use it from Airport or when first travelling on a separate MRT journey. Say travel from Airport Saturday, and you first use MRT on Tuesday, does your 3 day start Saturday or Tuesday. Also is return Airport journey anytime within the month or within 3 days of coming from Airport.
