Which embassy (WLG or CHCH) does an Australian passport holder living in Christchurch got to?

Hi, I am an Australian passport holder living in Christchurch. I am planning to visit Beijing early next year for 1 week, can I apply for China Visa in the Christchurch office or do I have to go to Wellington? Thanks

You need to submit your application to Chinese embassy in Wellington. The consulate in Christchurch only processes applications for NZ passport holders.
