About:Chinese Consulate in Lagos

is an invitation letter from a trade fair organizer in China valid to apply for China Visa

I got an invitation letter to attend a trade fair in China, when i showed it to a friend, he said such an invitation is not accepted at the china embassy for visa, he claimed that the invitation letter should be government one.

I really need to know if an invitation letter from a trade fair organizer in china is valid enough.

According to the new regulations, the invitation letter from a trade organizer is enough for application. So, you are suggested to contact the embassy directly if the letter should be stamped by local Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.
