dear Sir,i would like to visit Guangzhou on first of February 2014, as i knew that there is spring festival that time, my question... is the shopping centers and malls will be close or its open?regards,Mohammed aldafiri

Generally speaking, most large stores like Grand Buy and stores in major malls Teen Mall & Grand View) do remain open most of the time during Spring Festival.  Smaller family shops are usually closed.  Electronics areas like Gangding will pretty much be shut down.
