About:Shopping in Xian

Book stores in Xian

Hello, could anyone tell me where is the main bookstore in downtown of the city? I will be staying in Ramada Bell Tower Hotel . And also, how to get there? I also want to visit music bookstores too (piano scores) . Are these book stores located around the university? Please advise how to get there

I think near your hotel, there are two big book stores called the Bell Tower Book Store near Duanlv Gate and the XA Book Store along Jiefang Foad.
The one on Jiefang Road is about 2km from you and the Bell Tower Book Store is about 1.5km from your hotel. Either of the two places can be reached by taxi.
If you want to find the music book store, it is suggested to go to the XA Conservatory of Music and near it there is a big music book store. The university is located at No. 108, Changan Middle Road. To reach there, it is suggested to go there by taxi, too, because the university is about 5km from your hotel.

To Bell Tower Bookstore (Zhonglou Bookstore), you can even walk there directly, because it is only around 1,300m from your hotel. Neither subway nor taxi is needed.
