Manuka Honey, can be taken into China?

I want to bring some Manuka Honey with me from New Zealand to give as gifts to people I meet. Obviously I would have to declare it - the real question is would I be allowed to keep it, or would it be confiscated?

Thanks,

Don't worry! It is allowed to be taken in.
