I am Arabian and my wife Chinese.. our child get Chinese passport & citizenship or not?

I am Arabian and my wife Chinese. We are waiting our first child My Q if we get child out side china child able to hold Chinese passport & citizenship or not?

and there any Big Difference to get him out site or inside china to hold Chinese passport & citizenship ?
