Coming from US - Do I need a visa to enter Hong Kong?

I'm confused. I'm traveling on a US tourist passport, coming to Hong Kong for 4 days from other points in Asia and going home afterward.

No, it is not required. You enjoy free entry to HK with US passport for a stay up to 90 days.
