kunming to shangrila in dec and jan by bus

Do buses run from kunming to shangrila in winter or are the roads too dangerous?

Yes, buses for the journey will still operate in Dec. and Jan.
There are some sections of twisting mountain roads, but it is not that dangerous and the drivers would be very careful. Don't worry!
