About:Xian Travel

How far Beijing to Xian? How long is the travelling hours?

I would like to visit places related with Muslims/Islam, the mosques and the people. Will one day is enough for me to be in Xian? Place name a few places of interest which is nearby to each other that I can visit. Thank you.

There is about 1200km between the two cities.
If you take the bullet trains, it takes about five hours and thirty minutes. If you take overnight ordinary trains, it takes about 12 to 14 hours on the road.
For the muslim place, I think the Muslim Quarter is the best place to travel and there you can find several mosque inside. Among them the Great Mosque in Huajue Lane is suggested for you.
If you only want to see the muslim quarter, one day is enough. You can take the night train to reach XA and then the night train back to Beijing.
