from hangzhou to wuzhen to jiaxing city

Question

Hi, we will be traveling to Hangzhou and would like to visit WZ town as well. We plan to leave HZ early in the morning to head to the water town then leave for Jiaxing to attend a wedding at 6pm on the same day. Please advise if this is possible. About how many hours from HZ to WZ and then to Jiaxing? Thanks.

At Hangzhou Central Bus Station, there are frequent buses to WZ in an hour or a little longer. After visiting there, go to Tongxiang WZ Bus Station, catch a bus to Jiaxing at 15:30-16:00. You may get to Jiaxing within an hour. Then head for the site for wedding.

Thanks, Alisa! Would it be faster if we take the bullet train from HZ to Tongxiang then take another bus to WZ? I am not sure if this more convenient though.

The train ride takes about 30 minutes. But it takes at least an hour from Tongxiang Railway Station to Wuzhen, so I think bus would be better which goes to Wuzhen directly.
