1. The Chungking Mansions at Nathan Road near Tsim Sha Tsui is the cheapest places to stay in HK. In the mansions, there are many hostels for your choice. Or neaby, you can find the budget hotels.
2. I am not very clearly about this question. Would you make it clear?
3. Which journey do you refer to? Anyway, it is very convenient and easy to take MTR and bus in HK. During your stay, if you buy an Octopus Card, you can get much discount for the fare, both for MTR, and bus.
4. To Macau from HK, it is suggested to travel by ferry. Upon arrival at the ferry terminal at Macau, there are many free shuttle buses taking you to the Casino. You should not miss Fisherman Wharf, Venetian Resort, Macau Tower, Ruins of St. Pauls and Senado Square there.

Hope help!

At least as I know, the attractions you mentioned like Disneyland, Ocean Park, and Temple have entrance fee. Would you take cable car to Ngong Ping 360? If so, I remember the attraction itself is for free, but the cable car fee is not that cheap.

Subway can directly take you to Disney Resort and Wong Tai Sin Temple (if u mean it) and local bus no. 629 can directly take you to Ocean Park.
