Adventurous Trip near Hohhot

Hi,
I have a week off next week and wanted to have some activity things near HHT, thought of camel riding 1-2 days, maybe with sleeping in the wild (tent, yurt or whatever). Does anyone have a) contacts how to arrange such a trip and/or b) further suggestions? Actually I am not sad if it is not so touristy in general :)
Would would really help me.
