chinese holiday and tourist visa

Hi,im brazilian planning to go to indonesia for few days then i wanna go to china for few weeks is it possible to get it in indonesia?what ecxatly i need to show in the aplication?and i heard it will be holiday soon in china october first week,so the consulate office will work normal during these days?
