About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

changing z visa after entry

I've entered on a z for a company and done the health check, I've started the training but really don't like the job. I arrived 3 days ago and am in a hotel at the moment so I've not applied for anything yet with the residency because I'm waiting for health results. Is there anything I can do to change Z to an F (for a friend) or an L to look for another job. Kind of lost at the moment.

If you quit this job, your work permit will be cancelled. But you can stay until the end of your valid work Z. I am afraid to change Z to an F is impossible.

Okay, a company I want to work for would like me to go with them under an F so how would this happen? I don't have a residency permit at all with them so I should be able to leave freely correct?

What I mean is is there any way can they cancel my working Z at all if I leave?

They can not cancel your z, but the work Z can only be valid for 30 days. You have to leave before it expires. BTW, it is illegal to work under business F type. I think you should better exit mainland and apply for a new work Z for employment.
