About:Harbin Weather

we are planning for a trip to harbin from 31 dec to 2 jan, weather?

What will the temperature be? Will snow take place during that time?We like to see the ice palace..will it be opened during that period?

This place weather changes any time, as Jeremy replied u will see the Ice everywhere, then for the Ice City (Ice and Snow Festival) will be open on Jan 5th as u saw, It might not be possible to reach before official opening but Am sure u will enjoy the place... welcome

The average temperature during that time is around -25 to -15C.
It is hard to tell whether you will meet the snowy days during your visit, but it is sure that you can see the ice palace. The ice palace will open then.
