About:Wild Great Wall in Beijing

time from beijing airport to the great wall...

what are their hours...and if i arrive in BKK at 5:55...the sun will be going down but wondered if I can make it the next morning if I have a have a 2:20 flight from PEK to BKK

**** ALSO**** i Heard that it is a Chinese Holiday the first week of Oct when I am traveling...is THIS going to affect my plans and timing??..please advise!...thanks xo

Firstly, you are right that the early Oct. will be Chinese golden travel week, so it might be extremely crowded then. You'd better make a good preparation for that.

Well, from the airport to the wall, which section do you refer to? For convenience, Mutianyu is suggested. Take shuttle bus line 3 to Dongzhimen. Then walk to the nearby Waixiejie to take bus no. 867 to reach there within 2h. After visiting, if time is tight, it is best to take a taxi to PEk then.
