About:Best Time to Visit Beijing

planing trip to hongkong,shanghai,beijing in january 2014

i am Ajay dewan from south india,{chennai}i want to know about weather in january 2014 2nd week.also sugest clothing,and want to know if we could handle the winter as we are from south and we are not used to cold climate.will it be a proper season to visit china for 10 days

thanks for the advise.i have cancelled the tour for time being and as suggested would like to visit in summer or autumn

Please do not worry about the cold weather and I am sure you can handle the cold weather.
It is suggested to take your down jacket and thick sweaters. In HK, you can weather thin sweaters and thick coat. The temperature is around 15 to 20C.
To be honest, it is not a good time to visit China, because it is cold in most of the places in China and the scenery is not so beautiful as that in summer and autumn time. But if you have already arranged your trip, you can go.
