Airline staff from Bangkok does not know this new facilities. If Airline cannot take our datas and make advance information to Shanghai Airport Immigration, how can we be approved in advance or can we proceed ourselves at Shanghai Airport Visa free counter and get the permit on arrival ?

Hi, if the airline in Bangkok cannot take your datas and make advance information to Shanghai airport immigration, I am afraid you will not be allowed to board the plane as you do not have valid visa for such a long stopover in PRC. So, better contact the airline again for this. As I know, the permit should be issued based on the advance information.
