About:Kunming Travel

We'll be in Yunnan for 10 days to travel on our own to Dali, Lijiang, Kunming and Three Parallel River.

Trip to include Shangri-La on the way. Is it convenient for all transport? We are on a tight budget. What do you suggest? We propose to travel in March/April 2014.

Generally, the transpotation among these destinations are convenient. The recommended travel route is as follows:
KM - Dali - Lijiang - Three Parallel River and Shangri-la
For the trips between KM and Dali and between Dali and Lijiang, trains are most suggested. From Lijiang to Shangri-la, there are direct buses.

Thanks so much for your prompt and helpful information. So I assume I don't need to follow a tour guide to go to Leaping Tiger Gorge, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Lugu Lake from Lijiang.
