travel to hongkong - shenzhen and macau 28th september until 5 october 2013

We are from Indonesia. We already booked ticket to Hongkong at 28th september and back from Macau at 5th October. We don't know that that day is national day holiday :(

we want to ask some questions :
1. is it VOA for Shenzhen still open in national day holiday ?
2. do you have any suggestions place to visit that not to crowded at that day ?
