Visiting Xiamen for Medical Exhibition. What type of visa if two days of stay in Hong Kong included

Hi,
Do I need a separate one if I travel from Hong Kong- Xiamen- Hong Kong.
I am visiting Xiamen for China International Medical Equipment Fair. Would a tourist L be alright? i do not have any invitation for the exhibition. But I have registered myself for the same.
