lost my aliens employment permit

Question

Iam an American,worked in china for almost a year but had to go back to the states for an urgent matter and my visa expired and i lost my aliens employment permit ..what are the procedues for me getting another aliens employment permit ??..because i really liked woking here

If you lost your work permit, you should first report to the original authority that issued the Permit on a timely basis, then publish a Declaration of Lost of the Work Permit for Aliens on a recognized newspaper. You shall also submit a written application to local Municipal Bureau of Labor and Social Security, the written Certificate of Lost provided by your Employer as well as Declaration of Lost published on the newspaper to the FIE Section for registration and re-issuance of the Work Permit for Aliens.
