About:Food on China Train

Do they offer free meals like the airlines do?

I'm traveling from beijing to shanghai on G train, business class, can I obtain free meals on board?

yes, the simple meal and soft drink is offered for Business Class

Yes Bob you can however you have to ask for it, they will not volunteer to give it to you. It was not great but it was ok, except for the instant soup which was undrinkable. They will bring the food to your seat. Have a nice trip!
