You should apply for a Z type one if you want to teach in PRC. However, I think it's difficult for you to acquire it since you have no degree or any other TESL certificate. Without these documents, you may not acquire the work permit. Without work permit, you can't apply for the Z type one.

Thanks Dick. I do have a Certificate in Banking, Advanced Certificate in Business Studies and completed 14 subjects towards a Bachelor of Commerce Degree but it remains incomplete. Tefl Certificate is dated July 2013. Is there still no chance?

I think so, but if you have any contacts already, you can ask your future employer or company to handle your work permit application first.
