About:Qiantang River

Qian Tang River from West Lake area in Hangzhou, how?

Will be staying at Westlake Youth Hostel and intend to visit Qian Tang Jiang. What bus do we take to go from Westlake, how long is the journey and what interval are the buses. Thank you.

I think you may want to see the tide in Yanguan, Haining, right?
From your hotel, you can take a taxi to reach Chengzhan Railway Station where you can take the subway line 1 to reach Passengers Transportation Center Station. From the Passengers Transportation Center, you can find frequent buses to reach Haining. From Haining, many buses can be found to reach Yanguan.
The bus from HZ to Haining is around 20 to 30 minutes and the duration is around one hour. From Haining to Yanguan, the bus operates about half an hour and the bus fare is around 10RMB.
