I'm getting admission in yantai... Give me some tips for living cost and style andwearing since i've never been to any area near the sea

Are you going to study in the city? If so, CNY400 is enough for you one month. This is an ideal destination all the year around, with the annual temperature of around 13C. Summer clothes and autumn clothes can be fine.

I think that figure should be 4000RMB a month, not 400. Even 4000 might be a bit of a stretch, although you should have accommodation covered.
