About:Jiuzhaigou Travel Tips

bus or taxi- which is safer to Jiuzhaigou

What is the taxi fare from chengdu international airport to JZG? Is it safer to hire a taxi or take the public bus from chengdu international airport to JZG and from JZG to Huanglong? Are taxi fares metered in these areas?
Are there reasonable motels/ hostels within walking distance around JZG, Emei shan and Leshan? Thanks for any suggestions!

To be honest, seldom people will choose to hire a taxi from Chengdu airport to JZG.
I heard from CD city downtown area, it costs abou 800 to1200RMB for a car with four seats to reach JZG. It is not charged by meters.
From JZG to Huanglong, there is direct public bus. If you want to hire a car, the fare is around 400RMB per day.
For hostel, I think JZG MIGU International Youth Hostel is a pretty good place so stay.
For Emei shan, it is suggested live near the Golden Summit, so that you can see the sun rise the next morning. For Leshan, Jinye Hotel, located in city center, is suggested for you.
