The quickest way is to fly to HK directly and according to the latest timetable, the flights to HK operates till October 26.
Besides, you can take a train to reach Guangzhou first and there is only one train (K212/K209) and the train runs about 24 hours. Then from Guangzhou East Railway Station, you can take the direct train for HK. This method is much cheaper, but it takes so long on the way.
