how to take train from shanghai to hangzhou?

i will do a health check up in SH ninth people hospital which located at xu xi road& 制造局路. after that i need to go back hangzhou as my return flight is from hangzhou airport and back to kuala lumpur. where is the nearest station for me to take bullet train and what is the schedule?do i need to book advance by online?

and where is the convenience hotel recommeded for me to stay in hangzhou which is near airport and not too fat from those travel place like xi hu as i will stay in hangzhou 1 night

Search on this website for trains

You can make selections for stations and types of trains (Think bullet is G train)

I have bought tickets at SH station as well as online through TravelChinaGuide (this website)

The tickets were delivered directly to my hotel the day before I arrived. It was a very good service but you do pay a service charge.

If you have the budget for this, and you are staying at a hotel the night before I would do this.

When I bought the tickets myself, I had to walk for about 5 minutes to get to the ticket office at SH train station so no issues.

Generally speaking, there are three trains stations (SH Railway Station, the South Raiway Station and the Hongqiao Railway Station), which the train tickets from SH to Hangzhou.

Most CRH or bullet train are available at the Railway Station and SH Hongqiao Station.

Therefore, I suggest you to contact your personal Chinese assistant to buy the tickets at the raiway station or trying to try other ways to solve this problem.
