About:Jiankou Great Wall

I want only a "shorter" hike ........I read about that the most beautiful pictures can be taken from Zhengbeilou tower at Jiankou Great Wall

I want to hike up from Xizhazi village to JK tower, go over to Zhengbeilou tower and hike down from there. I can see a trail on the map that goes down from Zhengbeilou. Is this trail dangerous? Has anybody hiked this part and how long did it take?

Yes, my friends hiked there and they all say it is very steep and dangerous. In some sections, there were no real roads. I heard it took them around 4h to the top of the Zhengbeilou.
