I want only a "shorter" hike ........I read about that the most beautiful pictures can be taken from Zhengbeilou tower at Jiankou Great Wall

I want to hike up from Xizhazi village to JK tower, go over to Zhengbeilou tower and hike down from there. I can see a trail on the map that goes down from Zhengbeilou. Is this trail dangerous? Has anybody hiked this part and how long did it take?
