About:China Tourist Visa

Do need to show personal financial statement from the bank?

I am flying to Germany on Oct 2013 holding a visit visa from a Philippine passport. It is my second time to take transit layover to Beijing when I fly to Germany and the same when I come back to the Philippines. When applying for a transit G, do I have to submit other than my confirmed plane fare, a passport with an immigration stamp from Beijing that I set foot at their airport last Nov and Dec. I would like to apply at Cebu, much nearer to my hometown Davao City rather than flying to Manila. This time with a 10- hour airport layover at Beijing, it is nice to take a short tour to China's Great Wall. Thank you in advance for clarifications on my queries.

You can apply for a transit G type in advance in Cebu if you want to go out for a tour. But please check again with your airline because as I heard, you may able to get a free stay permit for a transit less than 24 hours. For transit G application itself, your passport, application form, flight ticket and valid visa to Germany are enough.
