Train and train tickets problem from Kunming to Lijiang

I am taking the train from KM to lijiang. if I book through TravelChinaGuide, where do I collect the tickets. What is the different between Hard sleeper and soft sleeper. Is it reclining chair or a bed to sleep on. Appreciate your quick reply as I am going to KM on Aug 22, 2013 and thinking of going to Lijiang on Aug 23, 2013 night and back to leave Lijinag at night on Aug 25, 2013 to KM

Generally speaking, they will deliver the tickets to the hotel you live in KM. If you do not plan to live in KM, you can tell that you want to get the ticket from local railway station. They will help you to do it. I did like this last time.

The soft sleeper have private compartments which are fitted out to a higher standard. Each compartment has four bunks - two upper and two lower. While the hard sleeper have open compartments and comprise six fixed bunks, arranged as an upper, middle and lower on either side.

Hope these information can help you and enjoy your wonderful trip in LJ.
