do i need for a return flight ticket in order to apply for a visa in tokyo for prc?

I am planning to stay a month in Tokyo and then move to China, without coming back to Japan. Am I still eligible to get one for PRC in Japan even if I won't come back to Japan?Thank YOU!!!!! :D

According to the embassy, you need to provide the invitation letter except for your passport, application form, photo and valid entry record. If you don't have the invitation letter, you should provide return flight ticket and hotel reservation in China. If you don't come back to Japan, I think flight ticket for your destination and hotel reservation in China should be OK.
