About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Bill from US asking question about flying in and out of Beijing en route to Ulan-baataar.

Hello.
I am a US citizen who will be flying into Beijing from Detroit on September 15 and then flying on to Ulan- baataar on September. On my return, I will by flying to Beijing from Ulan-baataar on September 28 and then continuing on to Detroit on October 1 (less than 72 hours later). Thanks.

As long as you stay less than 72 hours in Beijing, you can enjoy 72 hours free transit for your trips.
