About:Baggage Allowance and Transportation

G train, beijing to shanghai

I'm taking the gaotie from Beijing South to Shanghai Hongqiao soon; I have one suitcase, one carry-on suitcase, and a backpack. What are my best options?

The luggage racks of G and D Train are smaller than others. There are special closets for large luggage at one end of a carriage, but the space is limited and suitcases are piled one on another. Therefore, you’d better check in early and find a place for your suitcase, and take care of the fragile items.
