Is it allowed to bring seeds into China?

I will stay for long time and wonder if I can bring plant-seeds and flower seeds, that I want to plant and grow in a pot in my rented appartment?

Yes, it is allowed, but you have some proof that they are just regular seeds instead of rare ones and no threat to plants in China. Upon arrival at China, you have to declare the seeds.
