About:Hard Sleeper
plan to visit Yunnan 13 days. Would you advise to go by public transport? i have 5 adults 3 kids.

It is not advisable to travel by public transport! As you have kids and the distance among attractions is a little far, you'd better rent a van and turn to a travel agency for your trip!0
