About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

One stop at HK

In this case Cathay airline has one stop at HK air port about 2 hrs then fly to GuangZhou, can I use 72 hrs visa free transit at GuangZhou air port then fly back to HK as is third region after?

I am afraid not if there is a stopover via Hong Kong when you fly to Guangzhou. You can also confirm this with Cathay Airline or the airport at +86-20-81101991.
