Please any one tell me about Family or Friend visit visa

I am from Pakistan. I want to visit my Chinses friend in Guangzhou city for shortest time. Me and my Chinese friend have made plan to stay on his home. Does it is possible to stay at his home? instated at hotel?, and Does I need bank statement in that condition?

Hi, it is possible to stay at his home, so just provide an invitation letter from him showing your purpose of the visit, travel itinerary such as date of entry and exit, places of visit, relationship between you and him, and who will bear the expenses. And also a copy of his Chinese ID. Hotel booking is not required then. But if necessary, you will need to provide a bank statement.
