About:Taiwan Weather

How the weather in Kaohsiung in August in Taiwan?

I am visiting Kaohsiung from 19th to 22nd August 2013? How is the weather there during this period?

The average temperature is around 25 to 30C in that place and it may rain a lot for that place. So the rain gear is necessary.

GaoXiong will be very hot in Aug, but probably not any hotter than KL year round. Many people use a umbrella to shield the sun during hot sunny days. Pack light. Shorts and T shirt will be fine for nearly everywhere, unless you are going to a very upscale dinning place, then you may want to bring a pair of long pants. ( I do my best to avoid that during hot summer months)
