About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

we are stopping over in shanghai on the 15th dec 2013 at 10.00am then departing on 18th dec 2013 at 10.10pm to new zealand, do we need visa?

Apparently not as your 72hr free transit will commence at 24.00 ( midnight on Dec 15th ) & expire at midnight 24.00hrs on Dec 18th.
